What is included in setup versus maintenance?
Setup covers connectivity, aggregation, routing and execution rules, risk configuration and platform connections. Maintenance covers changes as your business evolves, monitoring, incident handling and reporting.
How long does an XCore setup take?
It depends on the number of liquidity and client connections and how quickly counterparties respond. After the assessment you get a plan that shows the dependencies and the order of work.
How are configuration changes made without disrupting trading?
Changes are agreed in writing, scheduled for quiet periods where possible, and checked immediately afterwards. We keep the previous configuration on record so any change can be reversed quickly.
Is the PrimeXM XCore licence included?
No. Licences are contracted directly between your firm and PrimeXM. We set up, administer and support the platform you license; we do not resell or sublicense it.
Do we keep ownership of our servers, licences and data?
Yes. Your XCore licence, configuration and data belong to your firm. We work under the access you grant us, document what we change, and hand everything back in full if you ever move the service elsewhere.
Can you take over an existing XCore environment?
Yes. We start with an audit of the current configuration, access rights, backups and integrations, fix anything that puts stability at risk, and then move into routine administration. There is no need to rebuild from scratch.
