What is included in setup, and what is included in maintenance?
Setup covers everything needed to go live: architecture, installation, trading conditions, routing, gateways, feeds, permissions and plugins. Maintenance covers what happens afterwards: backups, updates, configuration changes, monitoring, incident handling and reporting. You can engage us for either or both.
How long does an MT5 setup take?
It depends on the number of symbols and groups, the gateways and feeds involved, and how quickly third parties respond. A straightforward environment moves quickly; one with several liquidity connections and custom plugins takes longer. We give you a realistic plan after the assessment.
Do we keep ownership of our servers, licences and data?
Yes. Your MT5 licence, configuration and data belong to your firm. We work under the access you grant us, document what we change, and hand everything back in full if you ever move the service elsewhere.
How are updates handled without disrupting trading?
Updates are reviewed first, tested where possible, and scheduled in agreed windows outside peak trading. We confirm the timing with your team in advance, keep a rollback plan ready, and check the platform once the update is complete.
Can you take over an existing MT5 environment?
Yes. We start with an audit of the current configuration, access rights, backups and integrations, fix anything that puts stability at risk, and then move into routine administration. There is no need to rebuild from scratch.
Is the MetaTrader 5 licence included?
No. Licences are contracted directly between your firm and MetaQuotes or your white-label provider. We set up, administer and support the platform you license; we do not resell or sublicense it.
