MT4 and MT5
Running MT4 alongside MT5, and planning the move
Plenty of brokers run both platforms for a while. Some clients will not move, some strategies only exist on MT4, and switching everyone at once is a risk few firms want to take.

MT4 Setup & Maintenance: common questions
Do you provide MT4 licences?
No. This service is for brokers who already hold an MT4 licence or operate under a white label. Licensing stays between your firm and MetaQuotes or your white-label provider; we set up, run and support the environment.
What is the difference between setup and maintenance?
Setup gets the server ready to trade: installation, access points, conditions, gateways, feeds, permissions and plugins. Maintenance keeps it that way: backups, updates, changes, monitoring, incidents and reporting.
Can you take over an existing MT4 environment?
Yes. We start with an audit of the current configuration, access rights, backups and integrations, fix anything that puts stability at risk, and then move into routine administration. There is no need to rebuild from scratch.
Do we keep ownership of our servers, licences and data?
Yes. Your MT4 licence, configuration and data belong to your firm. We work under the access you grant us, document what we change, and hand everything back in full if you ever move the service elsewhere.
How are incidents reported and escalated?
Our monitoring raises alerts to on-call engineers, who start work immediately. We notify your nominated contacts through the agreed channel, keep them updated until the issue is resolved, and follow up with a written summary of cause and remedy.
Can you help us move from MT4 to MT5?
Yes. We can run both platforms in parallel and plan a phased migration covering symbol and group mapping, plugin equivalents, account moves and client communication timing.
